Astronomer may be down a CEO and head of HR, but whoever is running their PR deserves a raise. In the wake of a self-inflicted crisis — caused by the tech company’s now-former CEO being caught on Coldplay’s kiss cam embracing its now-former head of HR — Astronomer has rolled out a video starring none other than Coldplay singer Chris Martin’s own ex, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Introducing herself as Astronomer’s “temporary spokesperson,” Paltrow sidesteps the most commonly asked questions from the past few days—such as “What the actual F?” and “How is your social media team holding up?”—in a humorous attempt to promote some of the company’s services. Credit where credit is due: Astronomer may have lost its leadership, but its PR team is clearly still in orbit.
