This 1954 Moto Guzzi Airone Sport was refurbished under prior ownership and was purchased by the seller out of Italy in 2023 and relocated to the US. The bike is finished in red with chrome accents and is powered by a 247cc single paired with a four-speed transmission. Equipment includes 19″ wire-spoke wheels, an inverted telescopic fork, a black solo saddle, a passenger pillion, rear storage compartments, a center stand, and a chrome exhaust system with a fishtail tip. This Airone Sport is now offered with its historical Italian registration book, an Automotoclub Storico Italiano document, an owner’s manual, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The bodywork has been refinished in red with chrome accents, and features include a reupholstered black solo saddle, a passenger pillion, a horn, a side mirror, rear storage compartments, a center stand, and a kick starter.

The 19″ wire-spoke wheels are mounted with 3.00″ Pirelli tires. Suspension consists of an inverted telescopic fork as well as a pair of friction dampers. Braking is handled by front and rear drums.

The chrome handlebar is mounted behind the adjustment knob for a friction-style steering damper and carries levers for the clutch, choke, and front brake. Instrumentation consists of a 150-km/h speedometer, and the five-digit odometer shows 4k kilometers (~2,500 miles), approximately 500 of which have been ridden under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The 247cc horizontal single features a Dell’Orto carburetor, a “baloney-slicer” flywheel, dry-sump lubrication, and a low-mounted chrome exhaust system with a fishtail-tip muffler. The battery was replaced and the oil changed in 2024.

Power is routed to the rear wheel through a right-side-shifted four-speed transmission and a drive chain.

The bike is accompanied by a certificate from the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (A.S.I) confirming the bike meets the requirements to be classified as a historic interest vehicle, registration documents including a Licenza di Cirolazione (Circulation License) from the Ministero dei Transporti (Ministry of Transport), and an owner’s manual.
